I'm going to try to revise these some time soon. Smiley Funny how the most previous comment was on April 1st by Jinnu...

Hi TheFrustrated, that's a great translation there. I have some Japanese experience (took Japanese course for 3 years). I think I can fill up some of the missing words, plus minor corrections on the romaji. Do you mind if I do that? Or do you prefer to revise by yourself?

Hi! Nice to meet you. Yeah, let me see what you can come up with. I translated this long time ago so there are a few errors.

Thanks again.

Okay, here is my attempt. For the Mizuho's part, I also can't catch the sentence near the beginning, but for the following sentence: Kotoshi no haru ni koukou sotsugyou shite korekara no jibun jishin no koto wo sukoshi yukkuri kangaetakute, I think the jishin she meant is 自身, not 自信, so she would like to think more about herself (not self-confidence).

For the Tomoka's part:

"Watashi wa ZONE in haitte mada ichinen shika tatte imasen ga.....(sobs) hajime, ZONE ni haitta toki wa houtou ni nanimo wakarazu, itsumo menbaa ni hourou shite morai, tasukete moratte imashita. (sobs) Soshite, itsumo mawari ni wa itsumo egao de yasashiku akarui sutaafu ga takusan imashita. Soshite, ichiban fan no minasan ni sasaerarete kimashita. Fan no minasan no itsumo atatakai seirei (warm spirit of the fans) ni hontou ni tasukararete kimashita. Ichinen to iu totemo mijikai aida deshita ga, houtou ni suteki na ichinen deshita....Sutaafu no minasan, menbaa, soshite kazoku no minna, takusan no hito ni kansha no kimochi de ippai desu. Houtou ni ichinenkan ARIGATOU GOZAIMASHITA."

Maiko:

"Debyuushite kara yonenkan houtou ni ouenshite kurete arigatou gozaimashita. Maiko wa minna ni deaete minna to isshou no jikan wo sugosete totemo.... (cries) totemo shiawase deshita. ZONE wa kyou de kaisan shite shimau keredo....Maiko wa minna no kokoro no naka de...utaitsuzuketai (so she wants to continue singing in everyone's hearts, itaitsuzuketai would be grammatically incorrect, to live will be ikitsuzuketai) to omoimasu. Soshite itsumademo egao de sugoshitai to omoimasu. Yonenkan watashitachi wo sasaete kudasatta minna-san....(cries) HONTOU NI ARIGATOU GOZAIMASHITA."

Miyu: (the meaning shouldn't change a lot, but here we go)

"ZONE ga kessei sarete kara kotoshi de hachinen. Watashi wa jinsei no hanbun (half of her life, she was about 16 years old at that time, so 8 years was really half of her life, I think this line is pretty meaningful) wo ZONE no Miyu toshite sugoshite kimashita. Megamechuu ?? de watatte kimashita (not sure about the megamechuu also, but I think it's utatte instead of watatte). Eien janai (not forever) to wa dokoka de omotte kamoshirenai kedo ZONE ga nakunaru tte iu koto wa ima made ichido mo kangaeta koto ga nakatta shi shoujiki konkai no kono tsuaa (this tour) wo mawatteru aida mo mattaku jikan wa aite imasen deshita. Demo, kyou kouyatte, raibu wo yatte itte, kono raibu ga owaru to....ZONE....ga.... (voice starts to break more) owatte shimaunda tte omou to hontou ni maa sugoku sabishii desu. (Cries) Demo, kyou kou shite konna subarashii suteeji de rasuto kazareru no wa kyou koko ni itte kureru...soshite itsumo ouenshite kureta subete no minasan no okage da to omotte imasu. Soshite hontou ni ironna koto ga atta kedo nani yori mo kouyatte nandemo norikoete kureta no wa kono menbaa no minna no okage da to omotte imasu. Watashi wa ZONE no Miyu toshite sugoshita kono jikan wo zettai ni wasuremasen. Soshite, watashi wa ZONE no menbaa tte iu koto totemo shiawase ni omoimasu. Soshite, hontou ni mo konna saikou no guruupu no menbaa tte iu koto kokoro ni omotte korekara mo ZONE wa isshou watashi no naka de takaramono toshite ikitsuzekete ikimasu. ....Yonenkan, hontou ni doumo arigatou gozaimashita. Soredewa, rasuto no kyoku minna isshou ni utatte kudasai...Isshou ni Itakatta..."

Hey! Thanks a lot! I haven't had much time to come back and try to revise it after I became better at Japanese. Thanks for doing that. It makes a little more sense now. Thanks again.

No problem! Perhaps one day we should join force to translate their TV shows! But their talking speed in shows like Utaban is really difficult to catch though.

YES PLEASE!!!  Can you start with Potaaju?  You were going to go back and watch it anyway, right?   Grin

@revs: Hmm actually my Japanese isn't that good, so I don't think I'm able to fully translate it myself. This Final Live MC is relatively easier because they spoke slowly. But I'm interested to give it a try, to see how much I can understand. Probably I'll try in May when my exams finish, unless I can somehow find free time before that.

Yeah, I have the Potaaju series. I would love to join forces to translate something "bigger" one day. I simply don't have the time at the moment. I can understand some but some I can't. If I did translate it, it would take forever. I think that it would be more realistic to translate something like the TV Special.
