Some Really Good Links

J-Pop Shoutcast:
http://kawaii-radio.net/

This is great! You can even request ZONE songs there! This is my first night of listening, though... so I didn't want to mess with their programming by requesting anything yet. I've been listening for about three hours now... and it's all good. REALLY good songs!

Japanese Word Processor:
http://www.njstar.com/cms/njstar-japanese-word-processor

I have to thank TheFrustrated for showing me this one! You can type the words on the bottom of the program in Romaji, and the program gives you several options to pick from... all spelled out in Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. It also comes with a REALLY useful dictionary feature, too!

Great Program For Learning Your Hiragana:
http://www.humanjapanese.com/home.html

It's very affordable, too!

What Flavor Of Pocky Are You?

Can You Get Japanese TV In America? Sure!

Practice Your Japanese Writing Skills Online:

It's a friendly, social network style language exchange!

And for the VERY serious students:

Japanese Social Networking... MIXI is #1, but requires you to be invited. GREE doesn't.

More To Come...

Thank you, 4n01! I tried out kawaiiradio.com and it's great! My name is T3k0. If you hear a ZONE song then it was probably requested by me. I've been requesting almost nothing but ZONE songs. It's a good way to get ZONE noticed, actually. The more ZONE gets requested, the more people will come to know ZONE.

I like Kawaii Radio also and have it on all the time. I think requested songs come from registered users. It's no big deal to register.

Halo LED Projector Headlights Wiring Installation:

I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra S-ER and was thinking about Projector Lights for it. The company has a "How To" video on YouTube. Thought it was a good idea to see what Im getting into.

OK, your job is to tell me why I would trust this company! You will know within the first 30 seconds.

It caught me by surprize!

Hi DaCrow, sorry, don't know why you should trust them by the 1st 30 seconds. They are a good company and for a garage build
that is a pretty good video. I would recommend that you substitute heat shrink tubing for a seal and strain relief on back of terminals
though. It won't cost much and will do a far superior job to any tape.
Why should you trust me? I'm in the red shirt in one of the workstations I designed for this electronics company. The other 3 men are
from Perkin-Elmer and I was the head builder for Tornik back then. This was a 1st build team photo for a new design module for a
turbomass spectrometer. Marisol is our documentation tech.

I don't know how much experience you have, but just follow that video, it's pretty straight forward, and you should be fine. Just
make sure all your crimps are tight and firm. Use shrink tube that is just larger than the backs of the terminals and an inch or so long, put
on the wire before you crimp  ( I once had to remove 100 crimped terminals when I started on the line, very common error)
Now have fun, I hope it comes out nice DaCrow.

Very nice response and informative but off the mark. You'll be surprized when the correct answer is revealed by somebody.

Don't let the trees block the forrest Ken. Here is probably too much of a hint "つぼみ".

the background music is tsubomi!  well, the instrumental anyway.  not what you would expect in an english language how-to video.

Is that the romanization of the word?  I put the word in Google Translate and it came out as "BUD" or "Flower"
Anyway, it's the sixth track on Maria's first CD. When it came on I looked to see if my iTunes had started or something.
When there wasn't any words I knew it was the video.
Made me happy actually. Grin

Was sincere about the advice though.
Well done instructional, in more ways than one.

I would totally react that way too!  When you use Google Translate, do you use the toolbar or do you go to the actual site?  If you go to the full site, there is a button you can click that gives you the romanization.  Also, didn't 4n01 post a chart with all the hiragana/katakana romanizations somewhere?  I have a chart at home that I use.  That method is a bit slower, but it's also kind of fun figuring things out piece by piece.

I use the full page site. I translate entire web pages or cut and paste whole paragraphs etc.

Off topic: Right now I'm listening to Live 365 "Jpop Radio" on the VIP free trial and it's quite good actually. I'm not ready to spend $5.95 a month though.
I like the radio sites because I hear things I normaly wouldn't choose myself. Broadens the horizons a bit.
