Maiko looks great and she never seems to age...but in a way, she does. She's more of a woman but still looks like she's 16. Great song and thank you very much guys. I'm sure that we will have a new album soon.

Well I did put in the call to order both the Kanashimi Rensa single AND the new album, but I think that my friend at the CD shop might be too busy to place the orders for me yet. 

After these arrive, I'm probably just going to have to open a yesasia account, I think.

Oh... and I know that the single is included on the album. I just have all of the other MARIA singles, and want to complete the collection.

Have I already welcomed SkyJay and ZONE41 to the forum yet? Oh my... I'm forgetting a lot these days! A big ZONE welcome to both of you!!! And please let me know if I can help your time here to be good in any way!!!

How are you doing, 4n01? Keeping busy? Looks like we will have a new MARIA album to talk about in the near future. What songs from MARIA haven't been subbed? I can do it fairly quickly if I have the Japanese lyrics. I reminisce the old days when I could sub/translate like crazy. I might have some time this month, haha. Got a fall break from school and a few days off from work.

As for the song "Ayu Ready", do you guys know the history behind it? Quoted from Wikipedia: "Ayuready? was a Japanese talk show that ran from 2002 to 2004 which featured Ayumi Hamasaki singing with and interviewing several other pop stars."

Looks like somebody is an Ayumi Hamasaki fan.

Sad news indeed! When one door closes, another opens. Does this open the door for a Zone reunion?

Good Lord! We can only hope that a Zone reunion is in the future.

I have to say that the similarities between the two breakups is quite uncanny. In this case, the drummer didn't leave to pursue school, but is still the main source of the band's breakup. Also, they're breaking up in April 3rd only two days after the anniversary of the Zone breakup. That's crazy! Poor Maiko having to go through the pain of another breakup after such a short period of time after the first one.

          I wish TATTSU the best on her progress with medical treatments. I really don't want to say this, but I am not surprised that their contracts were also not re-negotiated when their contract was meeting its expiration date. I really wish Maiko and the whole band the best when they head into the next stage of their life. I hope Maiko will still stick around the entertainment business, if she doesn't, then I am pretty sure she is going to do something great in the future like if she didn't go to college after ZONE, then she could return back to school to continue her education. She is too talented. Now that leaves it up to Miyu  the only ZONE member still active. Tomoka is questionable to me if she's active right now.

An optimist would say this is far from over. The Beatles broke up 40 years ago and Mc Cartney and Ringo are still going strong. George Harrison worked until his untimely death.
How many American / English bands have split up, had personel changes, gone away and come back (several times in some cases), this is the music business.
Who could ever think Queen would go on without Freddie Mercury? They did. After Kurt Cobain died Dave Grohl started the Foo Fighters.
This is far from over, I'm confident our girls will be back in one form or another. Maybe not tomorrow, next month or next year, but they'll be back!
The Who just performed at the Super Bowl with only two original members. I say the odds are with us. Be patient.
