You are so right Zerojinnu. I meant to write on this topic yesterday but got sidetracked
and didn't get to it.. I'm sorry.
I didn't know everyones names but knew we had some friends living in the Luzon area. I pray for
them also.  Broken Heart  I know we won't be able to hear anything for a least a few days,
probably much more because all
communications will be down and they probably won't have internet access for a couple of weeks.
That will be the hardest for us.
I was also thinking, that when we do hear from them, if any of them have problems, we might be
able to to get together and help out some way. I won't suggest anything now since we have no idea
of what could be needed, or what the problems could be. I just want everyone to think about it first.
And keep our friends in your thoughts.

I really hope that they're doing ok now. I also hope that none of their loved ones were hurt. I hope that everybody being hit by the tropical storm is ok. Do you know if any of them have a facebook or online blog or anything? If so, we should try to check and see if they're ok.

I think that Kensolar had a great suggestion: banding together to help them in some way. I'm all for it so if any of you guys have any ideas, we can start from there and see where it goes.

I just now sent them all e-mails asking if they're ok. I will let you guys know immediately if I hear anything.

Zero, thank you for the update. I just saw this article and decided to add it here.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20091026/wl_asia_afp/philippinesfloodtyphoonmonth

It makes me realize how fortunate we are most of the time.
My prayers go out to those who have to experience this sad event.

I don't believe this, i just read that the Philippines are bracing for another Typhoon ( Mirinae) while the
floodwaters from the last typhoon haven't drained yet.   Broken Heart
My prayers go out once again. Zero and rest of our friends there, be safe.
