Runtime Studio just posted a dec 13 event for Miyu. I have no idea what it is. She appears to be solo.

At the 'Just Say No' show tomorrow 11/25....it says one of the girls from Yellow Generation will be there. Anyone know which one. I liked their PV that they had out in 2004, can't remember the name offhand. I still have it on a DVD of some episodes of POPJAPAN TV that I recorded back in 2005 or so. That was where I first saw ZONE, same episode even.

NOW YOU CAN OWN AN ORIGINAL PIECE OF ARTWORK BY MIYU!!! Assuming, of course, that you can either get to a charity auction in Tokyo between 4/5 and 4/12, or have somebody there bid in your place. On Miyu's blog, there was an announcement about auctioning off canvas tote bags for charity (Save the Children, I think). I followed a few links, and they have images of the bag Miyu designed. I am sure no one will be surprised to find that it is cute and girly with lots of hearts http://www.rootote.com/toteascanvas/TACC2010_work/53_Nagase_miu.html

Wow.... I just checked the current listings, and it seems that Miyu's bag is no longer the top one.... But still, I'm amazed that her bag would be so popular, even though she hasn't been that active recently. I guess that just shows how powerful the Magic is.... Heh, you're right, revs. It really is a cute bag she designed....

it didn't make #1, but it was very close! she said in a blog entry that when she saw the bags lined up in order of how much $ they raised, she thought something like "wait, that order can't be right..." because she never dreamed that her bag would raise so much $. she's just as humble as she ever was her bag sold for almost $1700!

From Miyu's blog - news of a performance! The name of the lake is Shumarinai. It's man-made, formed by a dam, and is in north/central Hokkaido. I have no idea how big this event is, but at least she is still active.
August 07 (Sat) 29th Festival of Lake朱鞠内 Location: Lake朱鞠内 Performers scheduled time: 17:50 ~ Contact: Town Tourism Association 0165-35-2380 Horokanai

Great find Revsfan, I'm always amazed that we don't see more of a connection with Sapporo & Hokkaido with their world famous winter festivals. Big events that bring in people from all over the world. Anyways, here's some photos of beautiful Lake Shumarinai for everyone. Yeh, Sapporo is the snowiest city in the world. Yes, they're really ice-fishing out on the lake, for smelt, from late January to mid March. This is more my time of year, looks really nice. Canoeing, camping and trout fishing are very popular. It's about 120 miles northeast of Sapporo.

(from another thread) Just checked HighJumps website,,,,,,,,I'm not sure but It sounds like Miyu's appearance on Aug 7th is in a play as part of the cast.
WHAT? hmm... maybe she got a taste of the acting bug when she played a nurse on that drama "mama no kamisama" (i think that was the name). has anyone ever found video of that? it wasn't a regular role, just a short one-time thing, but i'd still like to see it. kensolar is this the link you're looking at? http://www.fancube.jp/high-jump/k/information.htmlgoogle translate seems to just say that she is one of several artists in a lineup that hasn't been finalized yet. did you find other info on this that indicated some sort of play/acting/theatre as opposed to just music?
