After reading about the MARIA disband, I thought I'd write a little.
Things always look so bright for other people. And when we look at our own lives, sometimes it seems like they're full of disappointment. All the things we'd like to do, or like to be, always seem so far away.
Sometimes, they seem impossible.
What we usually forget, is that everybody has sad moments in their lives. Well... maybe not sad moments, but moments where life seems very ordinary and boring. And I'm thinking that maybe, that's the natural way life is supposed to be a lot of the time. We go to school or work, and wonder how we manage to keep going every day. We can also expect to get sick, suffer disappointments, and lose friends and relatives as time goes by. It's just how life works.
Maybe the most we can hope for, are a few bright spots along the way. I remember how good it felt to find out that "Chiisana Uta" was coming out as a single. I remember how it felt to hold a copy of "Tsubomi" in my hands for the first time. I remember thinking that "Kanashimi Rensa' had TATTSU's best drumming yet on it. I remember discovering ZONE. Takayo's first album coming out. Those first pictures of Mizuho appearing on the web after such a long time of her being away from us. And those are just a few moments. There have been more.
The trouble is, sooner or later we expect things like that to happen to us all the time, and they just can't. Nobody's life is like that. And so, why should it be any different for the ZONE girls? Their lives must have high and low points, too. That doesn't mean we should feel sorry for them, or for ourselves, either. Right at this moment, I can't help but think that every day we try to help them all to remember how special they are helps us, and hopefully helps them on their paths in life. People tend to forget the good things they've done, and occasionally need someone from the outside to remind them.
Sometimes, I think it's a miracle that good things happen at all.
