Got A New Japanese Guitar
« on: February 21, 2010, 12:15:06 am »

Well, sort of... it doesn't make noise on its' own. Instead, it plugs into a synth engine and the synth makes the sounds.

Found the thing on Ebay last night... apparently, Roland never marketed this model outside of Japan. I dunno... I was kinda bored, and thought about the possibility of getting back into the studio for a few more of my awful attempts at recording... It keeps me out of trouble, anyway...

Good to see you, gir2413... and thank you for the kind words, too!  Happy

Well this little baby arrived today, exactly two weeks to the day from the time I ordered it. It was very well packaged, and looked like brand new condition. Yaay!!!

I think it will be good to know about this seller. As they put it on their Ebay page:

"We specialize in vintage, used, rare and hard to find synthesizers and accessories. We also offer music equipment, kits and a wide range of Japanese goods to the international community. We very often offer items not easily found anywhere else, so check in with us often."

They are a top rated seller, with 100% positive feedback. So maybe these are the people to turn to for that K-ON! stuff and vintage ZONE merchandise, too... I didn't ask, but it's possible. Here's their link:

Their prices are fair, but don't expect any bargains. Anyway... you can never have too many contacts, right?
